LEADERS IN GALVESTON CITY GOVERNMENT, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND HUNTER EDUCATION JOIN NSSF TO LAUNCH ‘PROJECT CHILDSAFE GALVESTON
NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, and Galveston Mayor Craig Brown, along with City Councilmembers Marie Robb and Sharon Lewis, Galveston Police Chief Doug Balli, representatives from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Galveston Parks and Recreation and the local hunting and shooting sports community gathered today to launch a citywide firearm safety initiative, "Project ChildSafe Galveston."
NSSF and Project ChildSafe Tell a Teen’s Suicide Prevention Story
NSSF®—The Firearm Industry Trade Association—and Project ChildSafe® today released a new video, "A Teen's Suicide Prevention Story," telling the real-life story of a teenager who took the right steps, including using a Project ChildSafe gun lock, to help prevent his at-risk girlfriend from attempting suicide.

LAS VEGAS — NSSF® The Firearm Industry Trade Association, the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Bass Pro Shops distributed firearm safety and suicide prevention resources, including free gun locks, at a special Fall Outdoor Sports and Firearm Safety Event today to help prevent firearm accidents, thefts and misuse, and to bolster suicide prevention efforts across the city.
